World Leaders in foam control

Crepe control chemicals are additives that are used to help modify the crepe characteristics within the tissue. This is achieved by controlling the nature of the coating on the Yankee cylinder. Typically, the cylinder is coated with a polymer base coat whose properties are changed through the use of release agents and / or polymer modifiers. In the case where the Yankee cylinder has been "metallised”, additional inorganic coatings are recommended.
