Composite materials are typically reinforced by the addition of fibres which are introduced in a wet process were recirculation of the aqueous composite mixture can result in air entrainment and surface foam. Common production methods include the Hatschek Process and the Flow-On process. Blackburn Chemicals Dispelair® foam control products have been designed to combat foam production and air entrainment resulting in an improvement in the production process.
