Paper & Board Manufacture

Dispelair® deaerators are highly effective processing aids that remove entrained air and control surface foam at the wet end of paper and paper board systems. Effective deaeration can lead to numerous process benefits; which include increased production, drainage, web strength and clean running of the paper machine. Product selection is typically based on regulatory requirements, application temperature and transportation costs.

Dispelair® hybrids have been developed for paper and paper board systems which contain low levels of additives; for example, wet strength and dry strength polymers. Such systems are typically characterized by increased levels of surface foam. Hybrid systems combine the excellent air removal properties of standard deaerators but with enhanced surface foam control. Product selection is determined by regulatory requirements and application temperature.
